Our Mission 

The Friends of Grafton Midview Public Library is a non-profit organization of area residents. The purpose of the Friends group is to promote interest in the Grafton Midview Public Library and to improve and expand their services to all members of the population.

What Do Friends Do?

· Provide financial and volunteer help

· Encourage gifts and contributions to the Library

· Support Adequate funding

· Actively participate in Library functions

· Aid in purchasing items that cannot be

      purchased with Library’s operating budget

 

Join the Friends!

Membership is open to all individuals and
organizations who support the aims and
purposes of the Friends of Grafton-Midview Public Library. 

Membership is from January 1st to December 31st.

The fees are as follows:

· Individual and Family Membership - $10.00

· Corporate and Organizational
Membership - $25.00

· Golden Friends - $100.00

Annual dues of members, monetary contributions and monies raised from fund raising    activities enable the Friends to provide added funds to the library for services, equipment and programs. 

 

When Do Friends Meet?

· Friends meet several times a year

· Dates are listed on the website and calendar of events

· Annual meeting is held in November
 

Where Do Friends Meet?

The Friends meet at Grafton-Midview Public Library on Main Street in Grafton.   A Library representative is present to serve as liaison to the group and are the official representatives of the library.  The group is led by a President, Vice-President, Secretary  and Treasurer, who are elected by the voting members of the Friends Board of Trustees.  As a member you are entitled to one vote at the annual Meeting in November.

· Your contribution of time and money will benefit both you and the Library

· You’ll encourage your neighbors, friends and family to use the Library
