Santa's Little helper Puppet Show
Monday, December 13th from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.
Award winning Lakewood Ohio native, Nancy Sander, brings her English punch puppets to the Grafton-Midview Public library with a delightful holiday show, "Santa's Little helper."  Children of all ages will enjoy this face-paced, high energy event of Christmas silliness and a good deal of audience participation.  Giggles and guffaws are guaranteed!  Registration is required.  Seating is limited.  This event made possible by a grant from the Stocker Foundation.

 Grafton-Midview Kiwanis Splash Station
The new splash pad project in Grafton is progressing.  Plans for a spring construction are being made.  The Splash Station has a logo, a website and can be found on Facebook.  Visit the Splash Station website for more details.

Read with Cappy and Fly
Every Monday @ GMPL from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Children can read to Cappy the Greyhound and Fly the Border Collie.  Cappy and Fly love being petted and will remain with their handler throughout the session.  Youngsters interested in reading to Cappy or Fly may stop by the Library the day of the event.  This is a FREE program.  Parents may not leave the library during sessions.  Please call the Library for more details.

Recycle your Holiday Catalogs
The Holiday Season is here and mailboxes are already filling up with catalogs, catalogs and more catalogs.  Please drop off unwanted catalogs in our recycling bin!  All money raised benefits the Library.  Drop off all unwanted paper in our  Abitibi Paper Retriever behind the Library.  WHAT GOES IN THE BIN?  Newspapers  -  Magazines  -  Mail  - folded corrugated cardboard and soft cover books School & Office Papers  and Catalogs

Want to make a resolution for 2011 that will affect you and hundreds of others in your community? 
Make a difference by joining the Friends of GMPL.  Ten dollars buys a membership for you and your whole family for an entire year.  The Friends of GMPL are devoted to promoting the Library by holding funding raising events and actively participating in Library functions.  Friends meet monthly in the Library’s first floor meeting room to discuss ways to improve all aspects of GMPL.    For more information, please call Friends President, Kathy Hyle @ 440-926-1302 or Vice President, Carol Wallace at 440-355-5866.
